Galician honey

The honey is a natural and fresh product which has been produced by artisans for hundreds of years.

The specially mild climate of Galicia, with plenty of rain throughout the year, the granitic soil and the influence of sea winds create the ideal conditions for a rich and varied flora to flourish which allows both monofloral and millefiori honey production.

Galician apiaries are characterized by their small size and they are carefully tended by beekeepers. The care and attention in which the production process is carried out allow the honey to keep its unique properties.

The different honey types acquire, therefore, some unique organoleptic characteristics which satisfy the most demanding palates. Since ancient times, Galician honey keeps its appeal for consumers, not only in Galicia but also at a national and international level.
