Membership requirements
The types of establishments eligible to join the tourist product of Flavour Routes of Galicia and the requirements which should be met are listed as follows:
1 .- Agricultural and food related companies and other activities:
- Agricultural and food related companies / producers.
- Agricultural and food related resource (production, harvesting, rural heritage) (production, harvesting, rural patrimony).
- Speciality shops (shops specialised in food products).
2 .- Tourist industry:
- Museums and interpretation centers.
- Lodging.
- Hotels and restaurants.
- Companies specialised in other activities (tourist guide, leisure companies, sport tourism, spa tourism, etc.).
- Inbound operators (tour operators and travel agencies).
3 .- Public administration and other organizations.
These membership requirements, which are fully included in the Decalogue of the product, are divided in two types:
Mandatory requirements which are related to permits, the adherence to a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) or Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) or nodes, insurance, etc.
Some additional requirements related to aspects which can be met voluntarily, although it is advisable to follow them, as this will provide added value to the tourist product until it reaches the status of a quality product.
